Design to Value

The transportation industry is encountered with new and pressing challenges such as rapidly expanding marketplace, increasing competition, diversity among consumers, and availability to new forms of technology.  Identifying the right features and their perceived benefits along with delivering them at the target cost is for sure the key to develop winning products. Global competition and complexity have led OEMs and suppliers to find ways to maximize value of products and processes within a total system. With a concentrated value driven engineering design-approach, we have been satisfactorily catering to many of our customers through our unique value proposition - Design to Value. We have helped leading OEMs to strategize Design to Value as an approach integral to product development.

This approach has helped the OEMs to maximize the perceived value by consumers and engineer the related functions at a lower cost without affecting its quality and reliability.

Our Design to Value approach
  • Quality Function Deployment.
  • Bridging consumer requirement with product design phases.
  • Focus on ideas that reduce the manufacturing cost of the vehicle without compromise to its perceived performance or quality.
  • Creative problem solving techniques to find better solutions.
  • Application of Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) principles.
  • Reduce capital and life cycle costs.
